When it comes to holiday gifting, Apple products usually top the list, whether it's a pair of AirPods, a new iPad, Apple Watch, or MacBook. And, if you want to get your holiday shopping done early and score a discount, Amazon's Prime Early Access Sale is a good time for that. The event starts tomorrow on October 11 and ends on October 12.
Similar to Amazon's annual Prime Day, this new members-only sale will feature worthwhile deals across multiple categories, including Apple products. Here are the best deals we're already seeing.
Apple AirPods (2nd Generation): 43% off
Hollis Johnson/Business Insider
The second-generation Airpods are the company's most basic, affordable model. And they're still a good choice if you're looking for a no-fuss pair of wireless earbuds. For the Prime Early Access Sale, it's priced at its all-time low of 43% off at $89.
iPad Air M1 2022: 7% off
Isabel Fernandez Pujol/BI Photo
The 2022 iPad Air has the same power as the 2021 iPad Pro for a lower price. It offers a sharp screen, Touch ID, and 2nd-gen Apple Pencil support. The lowest price we've seen for the 2022 iPad Air was $550, so the current $559 Prime Early Access Sale deal is close.
iPad Mini 2021: 20% off
Antonio Villas-Boas/Insider
The 2021 iPad Mini is a compact, powerful tablet with an 8.3-inch screen that runs on the same powerful A15 Bionic processor as the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14. Its current $400 Prime Early Access deal matches the best price we've seen for the 2021 iPad Mini.
AirPods Max: 13% off
Lisa Eadicicco/Business Insider
The AirPods Max give up the compact portability of the AirPods Pro to deliver the best of Apple's audio quality and noise-canceling performance. At full price, the AirPods Max are more expensive than competing popular headphones, which makes waiting for a deal worth it. The lowest we've seen the AirPods Max was for $429, so the $479 deal isn't the absolute best right now.
Apple Watch Series 7: up to 33% off
Antonio Villas-Boas/Insider
Apple Watch Series 7 GPS (41mm)
Apple Watch Series 7 GPS (45mm)
Apple discontinued the Apple Watch Series 7 when it recently announced the new Series 8, but it's still a worthy buy while stock lasts, especially with the current deals. Only certain colors for the 41mm and 45mm models are available through Amazon with a good deal. The lowest price we've previously seen was $329, and we're seeing much better deals for certain color models and sizes now.
The Apple Watch Series 7 has the same updated design and performance as the Series 8, and it's only missing Apple's new Crash Detection feature that automatically calls emergency services if it's detected you've been in a car crash.
MacBook Air M2 2022: 8% off
The M2 processor in the 2022 MacBook Air is incredibly quick, but it doesn't offer a huge performance leap over the M1 processor.
Antonio Villas-Boas
The 2022 MacBook Air running on Apple's M2 processor offers a slight performance bump over the M1 that's not realistically noticeable in real-world usage. However, the redesign that accommodates a larger screen while maintaining its thin and light profile justifies its higher price tag.
The lowest price we've seen for the MacBook Air M2 was $1,050, so the current $1,099 is pretty close, and worth your consideration.
MacBook Pro with M1 Pro chip (16-inch, 2021): 12% off
Apple
The 16-inch MacBook Pro's powerful performance, larger screen, and high-quality speakers make it a great investment for everyday users and creative professionals. The lowest price we've seen for the 16-inch 2021 MacBook Pro was $2,100, which is close to the current $2,199 deal. It's a good time to buy this laptop.
