Learn how to convert an image into vector graphics with Abobe Illustrator In this video tutorial we will show you how to convert an image into vector graphics with Abobe Illustrator. Launch the Adobe Illustrator. Go to the "File" menu and choose "New". In the appeared window, set the document properties and press "OK". Go to the "File" menu and choose "Open". In the appeared window select the image you want to convert and press "Open". Then move the opened image into the new document. Go to the "Control" panel, choose the "Image Trace" option and select "High Fidelity Photo". After tracing process is complete, go to the "Control" panel and press the "Expand" button to convert the traced object into paths. Choose the "Direct selection Tool" in the toolbar and select the part of the points on the traced object to check the conversion. As you can see, the bitmap image has been successfully converted into vector with Abobe Illustrator.
