Amazon’s Prime Day might be over, but don’t tell Amazon or Newegg that – the online retailers just knocked the unlocked 64 GB Moto G5 Plus down to $249.99, while the 32 GB model can be yours for just $199.99.
As a refresher, this version of the Moto G5 Plus features a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD resolution, a 12 MP rear camera with an f/1.7 aperture and 1.4 micron pixel size, a 5 MP selfie shooter, and a fingerprint sensor that packs gesture support. Under the hood sit the octa-core Snapdragon 625, 4 GB of RAM, and a 3,000 mAh battery that, when combined with the power-efficient processor, was more than good enough to get us through an entire day of use.
What makes the Moto G5 Plus stand out from other budget smartphones are its stock Android 7.1 Nougat implementation, its unique one-button navigation with the fingerprint sensor, and long battery life. You would expect a higher price tag with such a spec sheet, but its current $250 arguably makes the 64 GB Moto G5 Plus the best choice at its price point, particularly since the version with Amazon offers and ads goes for $10 less.
There are a few things to keep in mind, the first being that it is one of a few smartphones to be fully compatible with AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint. Also, the only color option available on Amazon at this discount is the Lunar Grey model, while B&H has both Lunar Grey and Gold models on offer for both storage options.
You can pick up the discounted Moto G5 Plus at the links below. B&H’s deal goes until Thursday, though Amazon doesn’t list when their deal will end.
- Amazon: Moto G5 Plus (64 GB) – $249.99
- B&H: Moto G5 Plus (64 GB) – $249.99
- B&H: Moto G5 Plus (32 GB) – $199.99
