In this week's selection of films and shows on Amazon Prime, watch the story of a young music journalist's attempts to cover a band as they try to make it big in Almost Famous. Check out the 1980s dystopian classic Robocop. Finally, see Daniel Day-Lewis' Oscar-winning performance in There Will Be Blood.

Looking ahead

Amazon has a few new titles hitting their lineup over the course of this week, starting with the new spring special from original animated series Tumble Leaf. There's also American Playboy, a look at the life of Hugh Hefner that combines fictionalized depictions of real moments in his life, along with archival footage. You'll also be able to check back in with Calvin and his barbershop crew in Barbershop: The Next Cut.

  • Barbershop: The Next Cut - Calvin and his barbershop crew are back, but a merger with a salon caused by a shaky economy introduces new wrinkle's into the group's dynamic as the once male-dominated space must open up to accommodate women for the first time. Arrives April 8. - See at Amazon
