How to Sign PDF files in Google Docs


Want to Sign a PDF file digitally? Do you know that you can digitally sign PDFs in google docs? Yes, you can and how can you do that?

If you need to sign your name on a PDF or sign a document online, Google Docs provides an easy solution that will helps a lot. You can do that by either creating a scribble  in Google Docs using your mouse/touchpad, or use a signature in form image or add pre-existing signature in Google Docs. Google Docs makes it easier for you to draw your signature since it works with the DocHub editor.

So here’s how to digitally sign a PDF and sign a document in Google Docs.

Open your web browser and head over to docs.google.com. Then click on the folder icon at the top right corner.

Now click on Upload.

Then click on "Select a file from your computer."

Then select the PDF file you want to sign and click Open.

Now click on the v (symbol) beside Open with.

Then select DocHub.

So select Allow.

Click Sign.

Click on “Create Signature” option.

Now select the option you wish to use to sign your PDF. We chose Draw in this tutorial.

You can draw your signature with a finger on your phone. The draw option is handy.

Then Upload Image option works with pre-existing signatures.
Type lets DocHub write for you. 

Click Initials if you don't want to sign your whole name.
Now draw your signature and click on Save as Default.
Then click on Sign.

Then select your signature.

Now click on the document where you want to insert the signature.
You can resize the signature by clicking and dragging on the white box, and click and drag on the blue bar to move it.

Then click on the Menu icon at the top right corner.

Then select Download. You can also email directly from DocHub if you click Send.

Then select Save to G Drive.

Now click on “Show in Drive.”

That’s all; you've signed your PDF file.
