Do you know that you can also enable developer options and debugging on Android Wear? Yes you can. Just like Android phones, you can enable developer options and debugging mode on Android wear.
Of course what kind of Android device would an Android Wear watch be without been able to enable developer options? You can enable developer options on almost all Android devices. Furthermore, it is a lot easier to enable developer options and ADB debugging on Android wear, merely like you would on a normal Android phone or tablet.
You can do a lot of fun things such as take screenshots, unlock the bootloader, rooting your Android Wear watch once you’ve enabled and set up ADB debugging.
How to Enable Developer Options
Turn on your Android wear display. Then say “Ok, Google” and then say “Settings”. This will open the settings menu quickly.
Then scroll down to about and then tap on it.
Then look for the build number and tap on it repeatedly (more than seven times). A toast notification should come up displaying a countdown. Then after tapping on it for more than seven times, you’ll also see a notification telling you’ve enabled the developer options.
How to enable ADB Debugging
Just swipe to the right once and you will see a new option under About for Developer options. Or, just use the steps above to return to settings menu.
Then tap on Developer options.
Then look for ADB debugging, tap on it and then tap on the green checkbox to enable it.
So from there the developer options and ADB debugging have been enabled for whatever you may want to use it for. Also, you’ll see some other options in the developer options menu that are useful. However, I recommend that you shouldn’t toy around with the settings there if you don’t it functions and uses.
